BCC_ClientGenie allows an extended centralized administration and simplifies the management of IBM Lotus Notes Clients significantly. Es enables corporation-wide uniform, standardized configuration of the Clients. The configuration process do not require any user interaction, whether in active or passive way. Icodex Client Genie became BCC_ClientGenie
ClientGenie is a technology-leading and well proven solution, which was originally developed by the Austrian Icodex Software AG (since June 2007 a subsidiary company of BCC). One year after releasing the current version 3.1, the development progressed in December 2007 with the version 4.0. BCC's experts are skilled in this matter due to their long-time project experiences and the complementary functions of the own tool BCC_ClientConfigurator.
BCC_ClientGenie within the product portfolio of BCC
After the extension of the BCC's product portfolio with ClientGenie, the features of BCC_ClientConfigurator 5.0 are to be successively integrated in the upcoming versions of the new join product BCC_ClientGenie. The product name BCC_ClientConfigurator has been withdrawn in favour of ClientGenie due to its higher awareness level.
In the course of the further development, BCC will provide a extensive integration with other BCC products, in order to implement an integrated Client and User Management. The combined implementation with BCC_AdminTool and BCC_DBTool will allow handling all the required actions at the Lotus Notes Client centrally and in a process oriented way. This will result in increasing the level of automation and so in reducing the total cost of ownership significantly.

The upgrade to the version 4.x is available to all ICODEX customers with an active maintenance contract. Users of BCC_ClientConfigurator version 5.0 with an active maintenance contract can also upgrade to BCC_ClientGenie 4.x. BCC provides it's customers also the opportunity to purchase BCC_ClientGenie 4.x at a special rate by the end of Q2 2008.
